Bad-Boy Bandit Love
Handsome and passionate Tasuki has a hidden love for the energetic girl from another world. Madame Yu actually lit our imaginations on this pairing. In the second OAV Tasuki's "true" feelings emerge. Always sacrificing himself for her, always muttering over words when she is present. Face it Bandit Boy you have it bad. So bad, in fact, that he tricked her into going with him to some little Pub and Hotel place got her drunk and then tried to sleep with her. It didn't work of course, considering she is so madly in love with Taka (a memory-less Tamahome) and because Taka came to rescue her and because Tasuki was being controlled by some idiot working for Tenkou. So poor Tasuki only got a kiss out of her. So we will never know if Tasuki is really in love with Miaka or not. But According to Yu Watase he didn't really have romantic feelings for Miaka. Of course that doesn't mean there aren't stories about Tasuki and his Love for his Priestess.
Did It Happen?
Well yes...sort of. I mean Tasuki got a few kisses out of it. I hug here or there. You know the basics. Taka kind of interrupted before anything hot and heavy happened.
Can it last?
Well not in this reality. Miaka is stuck on Taka (Tama) no one else but Taka (Tama) So Tasuki doesn't have a chance. BUT...If there was no Tamahome or Hotohori there is a distinct possibility that Miaka and Tasuki could have coupled. Lasting is another thought entirely. He can be sweet and funny, protective and passionate. She too is playful and passionate, full of energy and loyalty. But then they both are also so stubborn. Tasuki can be manipulative (comes from being a bandit) and insensitive. She can be a ditz and is sometimes selfish. I donno. Either they would end up fussing and fighting all of the time or he would have her hypnotized into happiness.
Why Not Tasuki?
I don’t no what Miaka is thinking. Yes, he may be the leader of the Outlaw Mountain Bandits and a little bit of a drunk at times but, he has always gone out of his way to protect her. With flaming, red hair, hypnotic, green eyes and a wild sense of humor, he would keep her smiling all of her life. But, it won't happen
