The Super Couple of the Fushigi Yuugi Series
Through trials, pain, heartache, misery, death of friends, death of family, separation, lies, deception, illusions, attempted rape, loss of memory, poison, brain washing, slave traders, face painted cacklers, ex-prostitutes, yo-yo welders, werewolves, countless rivals & interlopers, attempted suicide, emperors, cross dressers, bandits, flutists, thugs, fox eyed monks, exam candidates, doctors, magicians, demon possessed dead people, best friends, reincarnations, class president candidates, jealous school girls, animals, monsters, demons, gods and being sucked in and out of this cursed book to be together. One should say they deserved to be with eachother, meant to be together. From their first meeting (when Tamahome saved Yui and Miaka from Slave traders) They where destined to be lovers forever.
Did it happen?
Yes, of course just watch Fushigi Yuugi episode 1-52 and OVA episodes 1-3, OVA2 episodes 1-6 and OVA3 episodes 1-4 its all about them. Or read all of those cool Mangas. (there is just too much story to try to explain on this little bitty page. Although why Miaka picked Tamahome over Hotohori is still a mystery to us all)
Will it last?
After all the junk they went through you'd think so. Miaka would have sacrificed her home to be with Tamahome and he was reborn in the real world...TWICE to be with her. That is commitment if I ever saw it. They were married in the 3rd OVA. They also had a child. One big happy family. An awesome ending to an epic story.
