Musical Fantasy
After a rather frightening experience Miaka ran into the arms of a memoryless Amiboshi. (well not really) Instead of dying when he fell in the river he wound up mind wiped in a little village. There a little old couple adopted him and called him Kaika. You see their son died so they thought he came back to them as Amiboshi. Anyway Kaika/Amiboshi saved Miaka from a nasty wild animal and took her back to his new home to care for her sprained ankle and other wounds. This is where the romance begins.
Did it happen?
Well sort of...Actually Amiboshi proposed to her at one point. I mean Amiboshi used to go to her room and play his flute to make her feel better. Especially during the Evil Tamahome days. He could have had a thing for her. (I donno what it is about the Boshi brothers and the Mikos His brother is in love with Yui you know)
Could it have lasted?
Sadly to say all they shared was Ki when Amiboshi transferred his to her because his Mom drugged her with forgetfulness tea to try to make her stay with them and accidentally over did it and almost killed her. Anyway the only reason why she left Tamahome was because she was trying to deal with the trauma that happened to her before all of this. So no, they wouldn’t have lasted very long.
